WET Forecast for Spring Equinox Capers ECOrun v3.24.13

I hope you are ALL in good health, enjoying the moment & looking forward to tomorrow's Capers ECOrun & walk presented by Barrier Island Eco Tours.  I sincerely appreciate your participation & support! 

                                                       

The Capers ECOrun/walk forecast is WET but how much we'll just have to wait & see, so please plan & pack accordingly.  The Captains & I have been closely watching the weather and we're hoping they'll improve by tomorrow, and can wait up to an hour to around 12noon (with return by 3pm) for the weather conditions to improve.  There's about 35 of us joining in the 2013 Spring Equinox Capers ECOrun from New York, Colorado, Rhode Island, Illinois, North Carolina & of course SC, so hoping a delay for safety will not be a big disruption to your plans.  I'll have another Capers ECOrun/walk email UPDATE tomorrow morning around 8am and possibly postpone the ferry's departure accordingly.

There will also be a fundraising auction of a $50 gift certificate from a generously participating 'Feed the Need' restaurant, Sermet's Courtyard, serving Mediterranean style dishes on Daniels Island.  Click logo for MENU.

All of the proceeds from the auction will go directly to feed the hungry in the Charleston community, and will add to the $6,350 already raised helping serve over 4,250 warm meals over the past 3 years.  I'll also be donating 15% of the net proceeds from the ECOrun to the 'Feed the Need' Program.
