RESULTS & PHOTOS of 2012 Fall Equinox Capers ECOrun v9.23.12

Trust everyone had a great experience. Thank you for participating in the 2012 Fall Equinox ECOrun!

More PHOTOS on Capers ECOrun Facebook page

Sincere thanks to those who brought dry goods
(45 cans + 10 boxes) for Crisis Ministry's Kitchen!

Here's an orange sea whip or gorgonia and one of the few corals we have in Charleston that can be yellow, purple or white.  Look closely and you'll also see a couple snails that I hadn't ever seen before.  They feed on surface debris and material shed by their host and incorporate the pigment from the host into its own shell (Patton, 1972).

5k RUN & WALK:
The Odell family shows up in force taking 1st, 2nd & 3rd place.
Way to go Odell family!

JJ Odell, 12, comes in 2nd Overall with 7:29/mi pace

And in 3rd is Dylan Odell, 11 with a 7:34/mi pace.

Quinn Dewitt, 9, comes in 6th Overall.
